Scott Stingley is the President of Stonebrook Mortgage located in Boise, Idaho and the Immediate-Past President of the Idaho Association of Mortgage Brokers. Prior to joining the mortgage industry five years ago, Scott spent twelve years in the high tech industry focused on product, business and financial strategies for clients ranging from small-business to Fortune 500 companies. With these combined experiences, Scott brings a unique and powerful knowledge base to every customer loan transaction.
Extremely well-versed in financial planning with an in-depth knowledge of and access to a wide array of loan programs, Scott prides himself on creating a custom mortgage strategy for each customer relationship. Mindful that every customer’s financial situation and long-term goals are different, Scott spends his time focused on developing the best mortgage strategy for each individual customer to produce long-term financial success.
In addition, Scott was the first loan originator in Idaho to obtain the National Association of Mortgage Broker’s CRMS designation. He has served as a member of both the Idaho State Department of Finance Mortgage Advisory Board of Directors as well as National Association’s Federal Regulatory Advisory Committee. He is currently serving on the National Association’s Government Affairs Committee where he assists in defining mortgage laws and regulation in such areas as RESPA, TILA, HVCC and others.
Scott and his wife Tricia have 3 children and spend their time river rafting, reading books and living life.
